The Pulse Intranet is a secure site for UC San Diego Health employees who have an AD login. The site is available only for UC San Diego Health and university employees who have AD credentials. If you are a UC San Diego Health employee and have difficulty accessing Pulse, contact the webmaster or UC San Diego Health Service Desk. A normal pulse rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute. Possible causes of an elevated pulse include fever, anemia, anxiety, or an overactive thyroid. Other possibilities include too much caffeine, decongestants, or being out of shape.
